Curriculum intelligence

Your curriculum already exists.

It is spread across documents, folders, and the people who wrote them; which is why the questions that shape a year get answered from recollection, in a meeting, once.

One graph

Two frameworks. One map.

England's national curriculum and IB MYP, held on the same graph. Neither is bent to fit the other, because each is a projection of the same concepts rather than a folder of its own.

School DNA

In your words, not ours.

A unit here is a module there; a checkpoint here is a milestone there. Lev takes the school's language as given, and a department that needs to differ says so on the record rather than quietly working around it.

What a map finds

A gap is not an empty box.

It is a thing nothing teaches, which a later year assumes was taught. On a coverage grid it looks like nothing at all. It surfaces two years later as a class that cannot do the work, by which point the decision that caused it is three timetables ago.

NOTHING TEACHES IT THE YEAR BEFORE THE YEAR IT IS NEEDED EARLIER LATER THE YEAR IT IS NEEDED THE YEAR BEFORE NOTHING TEACHES IT TRACED BACKWARDS IN TIME
What you hold

An answer you did not have to assemble.

Ask a school what it teaches, and where it is thin, and the answer gets built by hand in the weeks before it is needed, by the person who can least spare them. Lev is being built so the answer is already there, with every figure traceable to the unit it came from and a date against it.

What exists today is the graph, two frameworks held on it, and the confirmation record. The rest of this page is what Lev is being built to do. We will say what it does when it does it, with a figure rather than an adjective.

How judgements are made

Judgements belong to people.

Lev proposes. A person confirms it, rejects it, or records that there is no equivalent. A proposal and a confirmation never look the same, and the record keeps who decided and when.

Refusals

What we will not build.

  • No persistent ability labels. The errors are not distributed evenly between groups of children, and no mitigation we have seen closes that gap.
  • No routing anyone to easier content.Lowering what is asked of a child lowers what they are able to do.
  • Not a student information system, a gradebook or a timetabler.Lev reads a timetable; it never writes one.
  • Your data leaves whole.Complete, readable and structurally intact, whenever you ask. Contractual from the first partner school onwards.
Partner places

Build the first version with us.

A small number of places, for schools with a reason and a date behind them: an accreditation cycle, an inspection, a new head of curriculum, a merger.

We reply to every application. No student data is involved at this stage, and none is held by this site.
